    Also AFM, timing, oil dipstick seal, oil filler cap seal, valve cover gasket, ICV adjustment... the Bentley gives a long list. You may have searched but you have by no means tried all the solutions. Grab the Bentley and a multimeter and get to checking!

    The annoying high Idle (Yes, I've searched)

    Hello,
    I'm new to R3V but not to BMW or forums in general.My 1985 318i restoration is into its second year, and I have still not solved this problem: The car idles around 1800 - 2000. I have replaced all of the vacuum hoses, and have cleaned the ICV with carb cleaner, throttle body cleaner, and soaked it in super clean for
    4 hours. The ICV passes when I apply 12 volts to it. What is wrong? I'm hoping someone here knows, as I have already tried Bimmerforums.
