what do you guys use for alt bushes? i have replaced mine with oem rubber and the alt is back on the piss again after only 2 weeks. Are there urethane options out there?

It's been a while but I believe my urethane bushing came from BavAuto. I also think if a factory bushing went out that fast there may be some other issue to check.

Yes, one of the first things I changed out. You'll find you're not alone, the factory and Bosch rubber bushings are notoriously bad.

As mentioned check around for other causes, specifically see if the alternator is trying to ground through the bushings (are the bolts white?).

Thanks for that, no earthing prob's just a bracket that has been welded by PO and seems to be stressing the very soft oem bushes. Will be looking for replacement bracket.
