Help me fix my M10?

    I made sute my plugs are in the right order. Hey i just remembered when i went to put the new plugs in that they wouldnt fit into the wires all the way, so i had to take the little aluminium nipples off of them.. they kinda just sit loosley in there holes.
    Shut up! I just got done driving.

        sounds like timing is off...

        i had similar issues as adding throttle and the car wont get passed a certain RPM.

        check the timing.

        you can check the valve clearance. thats an easy do.

            Some terms that get thrown around here a lot that you might find useful. Feel free to add some guys.

            CTS: Coolant temp sensor
            AFM: air flow meter (not the same as a MAF on these early BMW's)
            TTS: temperature time switch
            TPS: throttle position sensor
            ECU/ECM: engine control unit/module
            ICU: Ignition control unit
            ICV: idle control valve
            TB: throttle body
            DIZZY: distributor
            CAT: catalytic converter
