No power when you turn the key.

My brother just picked up a replacement e30 that he will be building. Brought it home and it has the m10('84). Let me shoot through the troubleshooting I have done currently:

Replaced the crappy battery with one from a daily. The battery mounts in the front. So all the leads were removed and cleaned(terminals were also cleaned). I am getting power to the starter and I tested the power from the battery to the fuse box. Nothing in the fuse box is showing power when you test any of the fuses. Only thing showing up is the headlight 7.5amps. When you turn the headlights on you get running lights and rear taillights showing up.

If you turn the key nothing lights up, no noise or anything. I do not have experience with the m10 wiring/relay configuration. Am I missing a relay or something inside the car that is blocking power to the cluster and other components?

    This is also an autotragic.

There is no power at all, turn the key and nothing changes. It is like there is no battery in the car besides running lights front and rear.

    Resolved power issue:

main power lead connector eyelets were ruined and replaced with new eyelet ends. Fires up with ease.

Only issue now is some wiring gremlins need to be sorted.

Turn the key and no power with M10 autotragic ?

        Sounds like normal operation, lol.

Lame. Between attrition and engine swaps m10 e30's will become a rare car. Not sure if that will help value because they'll still be really slow, but look what's happened to the 318is.

Who cares about the m10 318 being rare now...it is not an m12/13. Sure it can be boosted with ease for gobs of power. But my brother wants an m30.

The year is 2091, all E30s have been corroded, r3v'd, or parted out.

In the barren wasteland, a small M10-powered Coupe inches along, the only BMW engine capable of surviving a century. The old man driving smirks at himself as he reads the Odometer, "They called me slow... But i am the only one still going." At that moment, he clocks 1,000,000 miles.

I dont know how many KM will be on my 84, cause I dont have a speedo/odometer. heck, I dont even have a dash, or glass.
I have a tach and water temp and oil pressure though, and all are great!
