Noobie needing advise....
A little bit of story telling....
Four months ago I bought a low mileage 84 318i with automatic transmission. It looks good inside and out for a 30 year old E30, runs great and everything works, passed smog and I will renew the registration tomorrow. I have done some cosmetic upgrades in the short time I have own it and It is still a work in progress.
Originally my plan is to swap a M5x/S5x with manual transmission....But then I'm beginning to like this little unmolested M10 except for the manual transmission.
Now this is what I want to do and need your expert advise. What manual transmission could I swap now and would still work with a M5x/S5x swap if I so decide in the future? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
