I was running the engine with the wastegate fully open to tune low end driveability, hence no turbo piping.

What about the flywheel setup? I'm looking to do a conversion to lh2.4 jetronic from a volvo, and they run that same style of pickup on the flywheel. Where did you place the sensor?
