M20 performance chip

I’ve seen few providers of this chip.
can someone share their experience on what is the best bang for your bucks.

On a stock M20, I've tried the MarkD, SSSquid, and Turner chips in 91-octane form. According to my "highly calibrated butt dyno", MarkD & SSSquid chips made a nice improvement over stock in terms of smoothing out the power delivery, but nothing too extreme. With the Turner chip the only thing I noticed was the increased redline. I recently got my car smogged with the SSSquid chip and it passed fine depending if you have emissions testing in your area.

Bang for buck though, I think a tune-up, a good set of shocks & struts, and a quicker steering rack will make the car a lot more fun to drive
