    2.7 stroker need help .

    Good evening
I just finished a build. I used a ETA crank ETA 130 mm rods used the 325is pistons. Milled the block down 1.75mm. Checked piston to valve contact with clay all good there. The major question is after milling the block I should have to adjust cam timing. But after putting timing belt on marks still line up ?. Should I retard timing 2 degrees?

    thank for any help

What cam are you running and what were the clearances?
How much room for adjustment did you have adv and retard?
I would start set to zero and then try a bit advanced and then a bit retarded to see what is preferred from seat of the pants or even better do it on the dyno or use a performance meter like a dragy.
i would work on a 4 degrees change if you're going to play around with things (2 degrees on cam)

Running stock cam at the moment. Miller chip with MAF and 19lbs injectors . Long tube headers.

Have a dyno time setup for Saturday just wanted to understand how a milled head would effect timing should advance it from stock due to deck height. Really looking for base .

Pretty sure taking material off retards the cam as the belt tooth is fixed the head sits lower and the the cam needs to move ccw a bit to pick up on the same tooth. With a big change it may pick up on another (“earlier”) tooth and be advanced
