I don’t have an e30 but it’s actually an 320i with a m20b25 swap and I’m having an issue with my idle and when under load. When the motor is cold it runs fine, when it warms up to operating temperatures it starts to stumble off idle and when driving there is a lack of power and the same stumble. Had a pressure smoke test done to see any vacuum leaks and got that sorted, pressure tested the cooling system and that’s all fine as well. Pressure tested the fuel delivery from the pump as well as the return line and the FPR. To me it seems at if it is an ignition/compression problem. Can anyone chime in?
