    Running a TR6060 with my M20

I want to upgrade my gearbox to a t56 magnum or TR6060. Its a good box with plenty of aftermarket support. Also if I ever want to go away from and m20 it will make my easy for other engine swaps.

The gearbox crossmembers are easy to find due to ls swaps.

Is there any kits or and adaptor plates for mounting to an m20?

    Not that I've ever found.
However, starting with an automatic (detachable) bell housing
gets you about 87% of the
way there, as, at least with the T5, you just need to maintain
concentricity and set the depth approximately correctly.
An internal secondary cylinder (a la Ford 90's pickups)
and a bracket for it, and a driveshaft, and off you go.

likes the ratio in the T56, too, although a J160 out of an IS200 would be perfect...
now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves
