Will an M50 O2 sensor potentially work on an M20?

Would anyone know if oxygen sensors are interchangeble between a 1989 325i and a 1992 325i?

Sounds like a long shot, but I figured you never know. The E36 is a non-VANOS unit and both cars are autos.

After checking the Bosch website, it looks like they are identical. Hooray.

yeah, they are both 4 wire narrowbands. :)
