    Electrical Help please

Just installed a new starter, car starts up fine.
    Fuse 17 -sunroof, power windows
    Fuse 18-Aux Fan High Speed
    Fuse 19-power mirrors
    Fuse 20-heat/AC

None of these fuses are blown, but none work. Don't even know where to start checking. Help Please.

Where you fucked up is that green wire you forgot to put back on....it is for the "unloader" relay, makes all that shit and more shut off when you are running the starter.

That wire needs to see a ground when the starter is NOT cranking.

Getcher ass back under there and fixit!

Fuck Me. Nothing changed on that car except a brand new rebuilt Bosch starter. Do I have to do it over? Ready to crack someone.
My windows are stuck down at least. It better be something else. If those fuckers sold me a bad starter. Reman in the "USA". Should have bought the $50 ebay one from fuckin china!

I can't tell from the picture, but does that starter have two small lugs and one large lug? If it doesn't have small lugs for the start and unloader connections, you have the wrong starter for this car. Which would explain your problems.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

thnx guys, pissed as you can tell.
I removed the starter and took it with me when I bought the new one. Identical.
It has the gr/blk connected to the post at 12 oclock, the 2 hot leads at 3 oclock and
the black wire at 6 oclock
the 2 small wires only fit on those posts they are on, different diameter holes.
              dummy proof even for me.

you can see everything was labeled in this pic.

the only thing i can think to do is just hook up the 4 wires to a different starter and turn the ignition to "on" see if those accessories work again? gave the still working but old starter for my core charge. don't have it. who's got one local lying around.

Fuck, what a whore of a job, too.

Hang in there, it is definitely the unloader relay.

I think if you ground the green/black you will have function, at least a temporary fix.

Blows donkey balls that you did your shit right, then the fucking part is bad.

                    thnx
I agree with the unloader relays. K5 and K7 are for the starter. The wiring diagrams from the kid above help. The only thing different is the new starter. It ain't rocket science. Gonna go have the starter tested in the car.

Update. Grounded the lead to the unloader relay. Boom, everything works again. Conclusion. Bad ground in the starter solenoid? I hate shit ghetto rigged. Can I let this setup fly for a while? Or rip that starter out and shove it up Autozone's arse? It has a lifetime warranty, so I can return it anytime I want. Like in 20 years!

It sounds like the unloader function in the starter is bad. Which would make me wonder about the rest of the rebuild.

My friend bought an Autozone starter and it jammed up within a few weeks. We swapped it this past weekend, I'm curious to see how long the new one lasts. It was for an m42 car. I don't think I'll be buying an Autozone starter anytime soon...

It's a Bosch starter. don't really matter who it's sold from. i'd like to have it traced to who built it. those numbers tell the whole story of the build. probably a whole skid of them were bad nationwide cause of some chinese internals.

I want a new one. just gonna take me a few weeks to get motivated to tear it out. Easy this time, I redid all the plumbing and it's easier to access now.
