3.0 strocker ???

Ok guys i have a 2.7i that im finishing up. But a friend of mine has an e36 m3 and told me he has an extra crank with rods and pistons..

Is these what i need to convert my 2.7i to a 3.0???
I havent been abble to find much info. Is this the correcr crank?

What would i need to do to the block to make it fit?

you'll need custom pistons, you can use the rods though. is it an S50 or S52? they have different strokes.

you have to bore the block, make a sleeve for the front crank seal, and do some minor clearancing.

s50 crank i believe

and actually it's technically possible to use the S50 pistons, but you have to machine a couple MM off the crown because the M20 deck height is shorter than the M50 and S50. the pistons are high enough quality that if you are careful it doesn't significantly weaken it either.

WOW so i can use the crank ant the pistons!!
Any place where i can find the amount i would need to bore the block and how much would i need to shave the piston heads? and how to make a sleeve for the front crank seal, and do some minor clearancing?

Also what rods can i use i or e?

I have a spare e block and im really interested in doing this...
