M20 Temp Sender question

Are they all single pole or were some two pole senders?

This is the temp sensor for the instrument cluster.

Iirc, 1 pole, 2 pole is the sender to the dme.

Hm, not entirely sure, but my early model is a single pole sender for the cluster.

I believe all of the temp sensors for the cluster are single pin types.

Not all. M10 is dual, and so is m30.

my late model m20 is a single pole sensor to the temp gauge in the cluster.

Reason why I ask is I am trying to figure out if the single pole sensors are just grounded through the block etc....

I am trying to confirm if the Ohm values for the m10 and m20 sensors are the same or not. They must be the same since the temp gauge itself in the cluster is the same among various models.

On M10 cars I am pretty sure it's #08
