    how can machinery be incompatible with pistons? chuck them up on a lathe or a mill and go to town.

        The point of going with BCR was that they could grind the top to create the same shape as original. I don't want to just set it up on a bench and grind 3mm off.

        I will email MM, but i will also start looking at using the eta Piston, cutting down the block and using an adjustable cam gear.

        With my intention of being "Budget":
        -shaving being first, now seemingly not as accessible as first thought. (shaving them to the OE design).
        -decking the block for ETA pistons and an adjustable gear seems more straight forward and all parts are readily available.
        -we all know about the SETA pistons but they are hard to come by as well and for the potential cost rules out budget.
        ho hum...

        I'll continue updating on the shaving as that is how this started.

          Ok guys... i am dropping the idea on shaving.
