I want more power. Engine swap? m20 2.8? What do you suggest?

    sorry for my trollness, was just trying to help lay out the options a bit for the guy, after all he did ask what we thought about staying or swapping.

    I get it. i understand the push/pull on the m20 24v battle. I was just stating my opion on the amount of cash, time, effort into and m20 vs a 24v. he wants more power, you can get more from both. but IMO if for the same monies, less effort and time, 24v seems the way. I'll shut up now.

      m20+rebuild+headwork+performance parts = $ to get a 200hp cap.

      24v+rebuild+swap parts-m20 = $ to get a stock 200hp with room to go.

      As stated above, it all comes down to a personal preference. These two engines should not battling for which gets more power for the $. In reality, power comes in the form of FI or a large engine such as LSx or S54. Everything depends on your goals.
