alright ben312 i gotta tell you that you very seriously got some balls on you. just a few days ago youhad the nerve to believe 45lbs was enough to torque your head down. you seriously need to just simmer down, and calmly admit tat the OP may know a thing or two more than you, for starters a nitrous purge is not used just to look cool it is used to purge the excess air and condensation out of the nitrous line and help bring good nitrous into the lines and help boost line pressure(this part i don't necessarily believe in) but in all nitrous purge should be an integral part of any nitrous system. secondly interiors of race cars never look aesthetically pleasing and never are comfortable but what they sacrafice is made up in performance and weight reduction (for every 100 lbs you lose you lose .1 seconds in a quarter mile (a feel of 10 hp)) furthermore you more than anyone should know that there is never enough money to do every upgrade at once so to criticize his hood is rediculous - not everyone has your deep pockets and mechanical know how - 45lbs? hahahahaha. grow up and just admit when you've been beat.

yeah, this guy knows so much he posted a picture of a 335i dyno chart and claims he's making 350whp with a schrick 304 and a 75 shot of nawz. Never mind that the 304 isn't a cam you just drop in with some stiffer springs and call it a day.
I agree, race car interiors are never comfortable. I mean, why would you want to be comfortable for a 2-4 hour race.
E30 hoods are cheap as hell too. I picked up two fenders and a hood for $40. if he can really afford to do a head with a 304 with billet rockers he can afford a used hood and fender.

I was hoping that it would resume to its prior glory when the bus dropped him off after school.
I for one am still interested in learning more about building my own car, using NOS in roadracing and all this "faggit" stuff that apparently we are all into...sigpic
