TBS test procedure please

My car stalls occasionally when warm and the gas pedal is pressed abruptly. Could be dangerous. Some have responded and amongst other things, have suggest TBS issues. I have an electrical meter. Could someone please tell me the procedure and the correct values that need to be obtained.

it's all in the bentley manual

but, just FYI, the TPS is basically an on/off switch. It doesn't measure anything between WOT and closed throttle.
