help on changing the least accessible vacuum hose

my car has a vacuum leak, it's the hose that connects the charcoal canister valve to the throttle body. this hose is just buried under the intake manifold and throttle body making it impossible to reach.

this is really annoying, because i just had the intake manifold off, but didnt think of checking that hose.

so how do i attack this to make it the least painful? should i just remove the throttle body?

Remove the air box and intake boot. Then you should be able to reach under the throttle body and pull the "elephant snout" off the throttle body. The valve and hose will then be accessible. In a worst case scenario, you might have to remove the throttle body.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

yeah i think removal of the throttle body is the best option. one nut looks like a bitch to reach however.

removing the throttle body is easy. just use a medium extension. although you should be able to get to that hose with the airbox removed.
