    This thread delivers teh lolz.

OP clearly hasn't a clue as to what to do with an e30. My suggestion is to wait till you're out of your teens to start building and do more track days and practicing now. Put that money into maintaining you car. If you take it to the track you will need that $500 in about a month. Go for some urethane bushings and some thicker and reinforced sways/mounts and you'll be surprised at what you can keep up with in the twists.

This is why I bought my E30. It starts off lightweight and I can make it even lighter by removing the convenience items like sound deadening and carpet.

The number one problem with this post is that you have done no research and if you have you've proven yourself to be ignorant
That is why everybody comes off hostile, but to the e30 enthusiast it comes off as making damn good sense and suggestion.

    cliffs,
    >Do research
    >Do more research
    >Learn that the search button is you guide to success. Almost everything to be done to an e30 is here and on other e30 forums. It's just cooler here
    >Learn to not always have a stupid ass rebuttal.
    >Spend more time practicing driving skills and learning the car, then build and tune to your specifications and style
    >Log or start a build thread to keep track of upgrades and progress.

Those weren't exactly cliffs but you get the point. Have fun and be safe

If course, you'd never WANT to do that, but you could.

You'd have to downgrade the DME to drop the rev limit to avoid problems due to the single valve springs, and you'd have really crappy performance, but it would fit, right?
yes, but the OP was clearly refering to the #200 head from a 84-87 eta

any #885 head will work on a 2.5

Yeah you can run a m30 block with m50 head too.
    lock thread :/

The high HP jdm guys run the sr20 head on the 2jz block.

For the record, I have seen and driven a 325i cab with a b25 short block and a b27 eta head and injection. It was the biggest, slowest pile of shit that I have ever driven. I'm not sure what exactly some tweaker had to do to make this work but it did (kinda).

That makes no sense whatsoever. It was a relay, not a backwards motor. That just doesn't make sense.
