Update: Got the correct temperature sensor, problem is still happening. Beginning to think that I missed something with the TPS. Noticed that if I go WOT until it starts to lean out, and then back off a hair on the throttle, AFRs come back into an acceptable range. I assume that by letting off a tiny bit, the ECU is going back into cruise mode even though it is still accelerating hard. So, is it time to look for a new TPS?Comment

Even if my wide band (a innovative LM-1) isnt reading the correct AFR, the fact remains is that it leans out 3 points from where it is under WOT. I mean, when you let off the gas and the car pulls HARDER than it does under WOT, you know something is amiss.
The afm is from 89...dunno if there is such thing as a "new" afm anymore.
oh, and the crankcase is venting to a oil catch can. Not to the intake manifold. Doesnt matter though, because the same thing was happening with the oil catch and without.Comment
