    MAF conversion for eta's

Is there any reason why I can't convert a 325e, not seta, to MAF? Most of the vendors that offer kits specifically target "i" motors.

That reason is the exact same thing as why no one makes concrete floormats

yes, because it's a complete waste of time. if you want a MAF conversion, swap the rest of the engine with it (M50).

but I like my timing belts. Seriously, the general public is working very hard at making the m20 extinct. I didn't want this thread to turn into another m20/m50 debate, so lets not beat the dead horse.

an M20 is one thing, but you have an eta.. what do you think the performance gain is going to be? you have a sub-5000rpm redline stock. Even with a chip it's just over 5k. Airflow is not the eta's strong suit.

The market for eta performance parts is infinitesimally small, because anyone who wants performance is going to build/swap a different motor.
