    Purchase questions?

Very noob-like post here, but I would like some input...

THis car was originally $2900, which was out of my budget, now the price is $2300, and it's got more than that in parts alone I'm guessing.
My question is: what could/should I expect from this car as a DD? I'd be using it as a daily driver, and weekend warrior (hopefully some track days this coming spring/summer)... How reliable is the M20/chassis/suspension when it's been tracked? I've never done anything like this, or owned a vehicle like this before. I do however have friends that can help swap the tranny/help out with maint. work. It just looks too good to pass up right now....

And the stupid question everyone hates : with the 3.73 diff, what kind of MPG is that going to get?

After really thinking about it, I think I'm going to buy a cheaper "project" e30 that I can build up/mod myself. Talked to the guy on the phone yesterday and it's been strictly a track car the past 2 years...

I wouldn't consider that for DD duty.
