i have my old unused head that had skipped a tooth of nine on the timing belt, and subsequently bent a rocker arm on it. I'm curious as to what these things are worth, and what would be needed to repair it. I found another 885 head for a reasonable price, but would it be better/easier/more cost effective to rebuild this one?
I'm asking because i may have an e30 lined up, with a bad head on it, so i'm trying to figure out the most cost effective way, to get this potential car up and running with the most minimal cost....
to clarify, my options are:
new (old) head from a 160k m20b25 for a decent price (under 250)
or
rebuild the old used head from my car, but don't know what needs to be fixed/redone on it - only prior history was that it broke some rocker arms, to my knowledge.
