need help: wire that connects to one of the spark plug wires and goes around the engi

while changing one of my coolant hoses i accidentally snagged this wire and all but broke it apart.

it connect around one of the spark plug wires and goes across the engine. the connector around the spark plug wire is just a plastic circle that wraps around the wire then this wire is coming out of it.

would this be the tps wire by chance? and do i need to get a whole new set of wires or does this wire come off itself?

it's the impulse sensor, used to time injector pulses.

you can't buy it seperately. Best bet is a set of wires - Bremi are inexpensive and high quality.

Fortunately, it will still run without. Your fuel economy might suffer a tad though.

The difference is negligible when the engine runs without the impulse sensor. It runs only slightly smoother with it.
Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
Mark: "Didn't you just break a rocker arm?"
Me: "Yeah, I don't think I've learned my lesson."
      Mark: "You never will."
