    relay check

Can someone check the three relays on the drivers side engine bay for me.

I swapped in a 1987 325e motor for my 1986 325e. but I removed the relays and I need to know what numbers go where.

So on the top of the relay there is a part# list them from left to right please. Main, fuel and o2

The order shown in the picture is how the relays are supposed to be. But since the relay sockets clip into the holder, the order of the sockets may not be correct. The main relay socket can be identified by the presence of a fifth connection. The fuel pump relay has a 1.5mm Green/Violet wire going to the socket.

The main relay has five pins and the other two (which are interchangeable) have four pins.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Dude, I wanted the PART number that is on the top of the relays for the E30 car years I listed.

you do know about realoem, right? you can look up any part of an e30 there. use the archive section.

        also, check this out.

For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than to Google it for themselves.

        check the first link.

not trying to be a douche, dont take it that way. just trying to educate. things like main relay part numbers are easily found out on your own.

and if you're doing an engine swap, jlevie already told you what you need to know. 5 prong goes in the first slot. the other 2 relays (4 prong) are interchangeable and go in the last 2 slots.

I do know RealOEM, I did not know you could look up relays... thanks for that.

I know what ones go where, but my brother removed them and I don't know what ones are the correct ones. I can figure out prongs there is just part #'s and I wanted the correct ones.

I am not getting spark(main relay, CPS) and I got power to fuel pump but NOT a bit of whine from it when key it on. I have three good ones just checking relays first.

You ever figure this out? I'm having a similar problem right now.
