          i had the valve replaced by a shop that does everything you can think of to a engine, these guys do it, how would diagnose if the valve was the problem without tearing the engine apart?

              A leakdown test...

              Knocking and low oil pressure points to a bottom end issue not a bent valve imo.

                correct!!! knocking would be low end a rattle would be head or timing. low oil pressure could also be caused because off incorrect spec bearings being used IE standards when cranks has been ground 0.5 thou or whatever. Also can be caused by missalignment of the bearing. Could be a faulty main pressure valve or a failing pump. Could also just be a dodgy sensor.
