How far can i push a 325ix motor?

    How far can i push a 325ix motor?

    meaning does anyone know what is too mush horsepower for the drivetrain/trans cases to handle

    i'm in the planning stage for restoring/modifying an ix for daily driver duty

    uhm, how much money do you have? ;)

    These questions are pretty silly. There's no HP limit to a drivetrain. There might be a torque limit, and it might depend on how hard you are on the drivetrain (hard launches vs cruising).

    there are several guys pushing a few hundred HP with a turbo. Some of them are even drag racing regularily, but that's by far the hardest on the car.

    did you go to the picnic? Sach Carlson's turbo ix is making 300-some odd HP. And he's been racing that thing for years now..

      i was out of town this year for the picnic, plus i sold my e30 so.....
