    Auto Electric fan troubles

So Ive wired up an electric fan and I have tried to have it cut on via the temp sensors on the radiator. The car doesnt seem to heat the sensors up enough for the temp sensors to register and click on the fan. I have boiled the sensors in water on the stove and they will take current once its boiling. I know the car is getting hot enough because the temp gauge will start to go over halfway. Do I need lower temp sensors or what?

the stock sensor doesn't turn on the low speed until 90c and the high speed until 99c. you need a lower temp thermoswitch.
