I'm leaking a lot of coolant out of the back of my engine block. it seems to be coming from a bolt on the back of the head, next to the fire wall. can any body elaborate more on whats leaking, and what i can do to fix it.... i can't seem to tighten the bolt any more.

If this an M20 engine, the leak is either from the heater hose fitting on the rear of the head or from a failed head gasket. Of those the heater hose fitting is the more likely. You'll need to remove that fitting, check to see if it is still good, and re-install it with a new gasket. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Ok. i'll do some more poking around, but it really seemed like it was leak from one the the 3 bolts on the back of the head. But i agree. my car has 120k miles on it, i can't see it been the head gasket.
Just for the record though, does any one know what those 3 bolts are for?Comment
