    noob question: swaping m20 into a 318

    Ok so heres my delema:

I have a 88' 325is coupe that runs like a champ no engine issues at all trannys in great shape too. The problem is its a rust bucket its got well over $3,000 in rust to fix.. my solution: buy a clean 91' 318i 4door thats up for sale in my town. The 318 has no rust and no tranny or engine... im thinking perfect opportunity for to swap.. Is there any issues with this? Am i going to run across and wiring nightmares or anything other than just pulling the motor + trans outta my 88 and mounting it into the 91?

    Thanks

im in the middle of this now, The swap was easy just had to change everything from the motor to the diff, and fuel lines. now that i have done this is i thought the chasis and harness connecter were the same. well we figured out there different so i spent yesterday and last night decoding some more wiring but its tough to find c101 pinouts, what you need to do is get close to the same year chassis or be prepaired to do some wiring. I found a bunch of pinouts for a couple of years so let me know. I cannot find one on the m20 though, yet....
