Hey guys. I just pulled my crankshaft from my m20b25. And now I am having a problem removing the plate from the front of the crank. Does any1 have an idea on how to remove it. I know that I have to remove the crank bolt w/ a 32mm socket but I don't know what to do after that, thanx for all advice in adnvance.

Ya put the crank back in teh block and set the block onthe ground. Get 2 four foot cheater bars, a couple of buddies and a lot lot lot of beer. They are put on with some 300 plus lbs or tourque from the factory. You will need 1k plus to remove it. beer is replinish the sweat."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

The only issue is to find a "ballsy impact" that is under $500.00. But yes air is your friend."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Ingersoll Rand 2130 would fit the bill nicely. 600+ ft/lbs of torque (in reverse, 450 in forward) I have never found the nut that it wouldnt remove. I have even removed cross threaded axle nuts before with this thing. Normally goes for about $150-$200 bucks or so.

I have an IR 850lb and Snapon 900lb and a matco 750lb. none of them will take the crank nut off. I would like to see a cordless remove a crank nut, im sorry but I would have to see it to believe it. We are talking crank nut, not to be mistaken for the crank pully/balancer bolts correct."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

have you used it on a crank nut? Just wondering, not doubting."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

I stand corrected, just undid a crank nut with my IR 800. This was a first for me."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill
