    Oversize eccentrics? Lash caps?

Rebuilding an 885 head. It's all nice and clean after a trip to the machine shop for a valve job and dip in the tank. I'm using my old rocker arms and a new billet cam from IE (their 270 grind) with new eccentrics.

Last night I got everything put back together on the bench. As I went to start adjusting the valve lash, I noticed that even with the new eccentrics I bought, there's still too much space between the valve and the eccentric to get a good adjustment.

IE's site says I don't need oversized eccentrics for this cam...but factory spec eccentrics don't seem to be working. On top of that, I can't seem to find any online stores that sell oversize eccentrics. Planning to call IE on Monday to make sure my cam wasn't mixed for a regrind, but I have a feeling that won't result in much help.

Anyone know where I can still get oversized eccentrics? Pelican and a few of the other sites I usually shop don't seem to have them.

IE does sell oversized eccentrics...for the M10. I have successfully used
them in my m20 (Lee's idea/suggestion) for 9500km now. They fit perfect
and now my valves are adjusted to factory spec.

The only funny thing is when new they are flat black...But I think
its just a protective coat of some sort that wears away.

So IE should be able to help...
