Agreed. Both of my cars are what I'd consider low (3.5" and 3" from ground) and I've never broken a pan.

you can not drive any lowered car blindly, that is for sure.
however, a skid plate is a great way to stack the odds if you are foced to run something over unavoidably.
there is no replacement for being aware of your surroundings though.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

Well those of you that have never cracked a pan you are awesome! Installing e36 mounts has always worked for me because my cars have always been slammed. Strut bars could still be installed but just need some massaging, and plus the streets that I drive around are torn apart.www.CASTROMOTORSPORT.com

i had no choice but to drive over a large chunk of concrete in the middle of my lane back when i had my e30. it smashed into my skidplate and my car kinda bounced off it and over it, and that's it. i can't imagine the same would've happened without the skidplate.Comment

I'm with Corvallis on this one...why would you buy used hydraulic mounts? They're probably going to be shot. New ones are only like $60 each.IG: deniso_nsi Leave me feedback here
