I am pretty sure its getting fuel it's a least getting to the rail is there an easy way to check the injectors. I switched the rotor and the cap and I am still only getting spark on 3 and 6.

I'm having a similar problem, engine cranks over strong but no start. the plug wires, coil, and distributer cap are all good. the cap is brand new as are the plugs. i checked the pulse sensor and the resistance is in spec. fuel is also making it to the fuel rail with good pressureComment

Checked the timing belt the tensioner bolt that keeps it to the block broke, belt slid forward and was rubbing on the cover switched it for a new one fixed the bolt and checked the timing. Oh and still doesn't start. Now i switched the rotor, cap, and plug wires spark plugs are good. It's still only firing on 3 and 6. I am going to start buying things new what should I get first main relay? DME? help me please. hahaComment

If you only have spark on those cylinders with new wires, cap, rotor, and plugs, the possibilites are:Now i switched the rotor, cap, and plug wires spark plugs are good. It's still only firing on 3 and 6.
Bad CPS
Bad coil
Bad DME
Replace with known good parts in that order. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I figured it out i had the coil wire on the wrong spot on the cap. Now I just need help with timing when I put the good belt on I am pretty sure i was a couple teeth off but how do i get the belt on with out the head moving?Comment

Okay timings good it should take two rotations of the crank to match up again with the head right? I got it running and idling on its on but when i go to rev it up it will only go to 2k whats my problem now?Comment

Turn the engine until the timing mark on the cam shaft lines up and the markon the cam sprocket is lined up (or almost if off). If the timing is off, loosen the tensioner and remove the belt. Then align the cam sprocket marks. When installing the belt start with the load side (the side closest to the intake) and then work the belt on. If the load side is tight the timing won't change as you work the belt on. Once the belt is on an dproperly tensioned, rotate the engine through two revolutions and stop when the crank marks line up. If the belt is correct that cam sprocket marks will be lined up.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
