    I had the 2.93 still when I did the 885 top end swap, and it wasn't that bad on the streets, second gear was awesome. Went to a 4.10 and am hating it, basically feels like I just moved all the gears down one and have 1/2 of a first now. When it was still an eta, yeah a gear would have helped it, but if you have an "i", 2.93 is awesome for highway driving! I could go as low as 30 and still pull a little in 3rd, but also could pass at 100mph by downshifting to 3rd lol.

    yep. i never feel like i need another gear in my eta. 2500rpm seems to put me at the flow of traffic. ~75mph.

    2.93.

    i average 28mpg.

    yup indeed m20b25+2.93= 2500rpm on highways. i call it the "6th Gear"

    a 2.93 will put you at about 2500rpm for highway speeds (~70). if you don't care about anything but highway mileage, get the tallest gear you can, probably a 2.79 or 2.93. simple

    I personally never experienced the 2.93, but ive heard its good on gas on the highway because its such a tall gear.
