I personally never experienced the 2.93, but ive heard its good on gas on the highway because its such a tall gear.

a 2.93 will put you at about 2500rpm for highway speeds (~70). if you don't care about anything but highway mileage, get the tallest gear you can, probably a 2.79 or 2.93. simple

yup indeed m20b25+2.93= 2500rpm on highways. i call it the "6th Gear"

yep. i never feel like i need another gear in my eta. 2500rpm seems to put me at the flow of traffic. ~75mph.

              2.93.

              i average 28mpg.

I had the 2.93 still when I did the 885 top end swap, and it wasn't that bad on the streets, second gear was awesome. Went to a 4.10 and am hating it, basically feels like I just moved all the gears down one and have 1/2 of a first now. When it was still an eta, yeah a gear would have helped it, but if you have an "i", 2.93 is awesome for highway driving! I could go as low as 30 and still pull a little in 3rd, but also could pass at 100mph by downshifting to 3rd lol.

I can assure you a G260 + 4.27 is not the best diff for highway cruising. Unless you like never having to shift from 20mph to 123mph.

                      Now a TR6060 and a 4.27...
