    Another timing belt question

Hey guys, I've gotten lots of quick replies here on other questions so I hope I can get some info on this.

Im not sure when the timing belt was last replaced, Im going to ask PO if he knows next time I see him but does this mean it was changed in 2004 or just the accessory belt? its on the fuse box

I'd take that as the date of the last timing belt change. Which means that it is way overdue. So much so that I would not run the engine until I changed the belt.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

          Don't push 5 years or 60k miles.

You can get the part on Pelican Parts or fap99.com

i need to change my timing belt too... I've been hearing a squeeling sound in first gear and think my water pump is going bad... do you guys recommend changing everything just for the sake of knocking it all out...

All the belts including the timing belt and Water pump...?

Might as well since you have to take them off anyway.

                      fixed.
It's cheap, and you don't want to have to do it between T-belt changes do yew?

meant to say every other t/b change, but it is cheap enough to do every time...btw...use conti belts, way better. one more thing, check the intermediate sprocket. if it is the hollow type...replace it. the new ones are a 5 spoke gear. my hollow one broke, looked like a spring. needless to say...the worst happened. still repairing.

This, unless there's a reason to do it more often. 2x ago I had mine in for service, I told them to change the pump, and they said why bother, it's fine. Changed it this time, even though it still seemed fine.
