Engine Varient/Header Question...

First off I don't know much about m20s.
So,

My question;

Will e21 323i Supersprint headers flow efficiently on later model m20s?
I know the bolt pattern is the same...I think..maybe? Yeah they must be.



And yes :razz: I have a more or less full (headers to Cat, exhausts are rusted out) Super-sprint exhaust system. The ones that were made for the 323 back in the '70s~'80s, complete with Super-sprint tags.

all M20 headers will fit any M20 engine. Sometimes they vary by car though (E21, E30, E34). I don't know if E21 headers will fit an E30.

make sure the primaries are at least as big as the ports on whatever head you're bolting them to, I'd say 1.5" minimum for an M20B25.

Thing is, I plan on selling them (probably just the headers, no idea if the cat is still good)...So I'm trying to figure out if these would be usable on other platforms.

I don't have a b25 head on hand or I would have just compared the exhaust ports. So I'll measure them tomorrow when I get home. Really I could've clued in and searched for a header explanation on here as-well..or just posted this on an e21 site like I should have, LoL....:(
