    Fuel on valve cover?

So I have a slight fuel leak. On occasion I will smell fuel when I first start up. When I pop the hood, I see some moisture on the top "ridge" of my valve cover just under the fuel injectors/intake manifold. However, it doesn't smell strongly like raw fuel, perhaps its evaporated fuel.

I've already replaced the fuel line going at the end of the fuel rail (near the windshield).

Where could fuel be leaking? This is on a 1987 325is, so as far as I know there is no Cold Start Valve.

    Thanks
