    Stripped cam sprocket bolt, help!

In an attempt to do my cam seal, i find that the previous owner had placed a non-OEM allen bolt where the torx bolt is supposed to go.

So in an attempt to break this loose, i ended up stripping it.

    What should i do?
extractor? i don't think the little thing is going to be enough since the bolt is pretty stuck in there.

im thinking JB weld the stripped bolt onto the allen socket.

    any help?

    its this one btw

it's torqued to 56 ft/lbs (assuming whoever put it together didn't overdo it). any chance of getting an impact in there? is it totally stripped? I don't think JB weld is going to help, but tack welding a nut on there could.

It's totally stripped unfortunately, dont think an impact would do the trick. I don't have the equipment for welding, is there any other alternatives?

cut/drill off the bolt head and use vice grips on the remaining stud

or an easy out but you don't want to risk breaking one of those off in there..

What's the worst that can happen if you leave it on there? A little leak? A lot of leak?
