    Help diagnose

My car has been bucking/hesitating/jerking for the past few days. I just replaced the Air Flow Meter thinking that would solve the problem but the car is still doing it. I noticed that it only jerks/hesitates under 3k rpm. Any idea on what it could be? Stock 87 5spd ETA

apparently us eta owners have a similar issue.

this weekend i plan (we'll see) to pull the injectors. next thing would be unplugging the o2 sensor and driving around and see if it drives any differently. (if it doesnt, the o2 sensor is bad.)

Intake leaks or a fuel system problem would be the first things to investigate. A smoke test of the intake will tell if, and where, any leaks are. The fuel system tests in the Bentley manual will tell if that is the problem. After that, replacement of the plugs, distributor cap, rotor, and ignition wires would be indicated unless those have recently been replaced. If the problem still exists, replace the timing reference sensors.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
