Do SEAT Piston, Rods, & Crank fit in a 325i block???

    Hey guys,

Searched around but was unable to find a definitive answer

If I were able to get my hands on some SETA pistons, rods, and a crank would they fit directly into a 2.5L block???

To my understanding there is no difference in bore size between the "i" and "e" blocks. The extra 0.2L is all stroke due to the ETA crank????

    Thanks for the help guys.

yes, it is a direct drop-in

the blocks are 99.9% the same, the only difference is in the oil feeds for the main bearings or something... but they are 100% interchangeable.

        Awesome.

        Thanks guys

Also, are the rods between the "e" and "i" engine different lengths or is the added stroke all in the crank?

the crank is the only way to add stroke, on any engine

          but ETA rods = 130mm

          b25i = 135mm

            Awesome, thanks again man.

Is there a thread or site somewhere that I can find all these dimensions and what not?

Like are the rods and crank different in the SETA than in the ETA and the only difference is the piston head design?

Can I buy any normal ETA rods and a crank and just mate them to SETA pistons.

If there's a place to find this stuff then point me to it. I've looked but haven't come up with anything like that.

rod length has nothing to do with stroke.

Ya, that was already stated.... and I'm not really sure what I was thinking when I originally said. My mistake

Eta and Super Eta rods are the same.
