    Stupid questions.Pilot bearing, Plug wires

Rebuilding my B27, Also doing 5 Speed swap. Now I see pelican parts has a cover and a felt ring for the pilot bearing. Are these parts needed ? or are they just for the non sealed bearings?

Also what would R3v recommend for Plug wires, looked around, everyone says bosch. But the Honda fags say NGK makes better wires at a fraction of the cost. theres a NIB set for $65 on ebay.

They are for non sealed bearings. I always buy a sealed bearing.

For the wires, Ireland Engineering sells 8mm wires for $85.

or you can contact one of the forum sponsors for a nice set of stockers. the bremi wires are really good quality and you wont notice a difference with 8mm. Im sure blunt or guten can get you a good deal, maybe even better than ebay.

(i woulda thought a mod would push that...)

Well, most people go for the aftermarket since it's cheaper than an OEM equivalent replacement a lot of times.

the NGK wires are probably fine. Bremi are pretty nice too.

if it were me, i'd buy a $50 plug wire kit and make my own.

dont you need wires with a resistor in line or something like that?

I don't think so. You can use resistor plugs anyway.

              like NGK BPR5ES :)
