    have you ever tried....

    hooking your oil cool lines into the trans cooler part on a automatic radiator....would that work? besides the possible different fitting size.
    would there be any benefit from doing that?

    I don't see the benifit

    the OE oil cool seems like a more effectiant heat exchanger

      Well it could work yes, since it would do the same thing. The separate OEM oil cooler would definitely be better though.

        the auto trans cooler doesn't cool as well. you have to take into consideration that it's integrated into the radiator, so whatever is flowing thru the trans cooler portion isn't going to get much cooler than the coolant

          The fluid is made to operate at that temp as long as it isn't over heating.
