I havnt messed with the ground strap but there is no protective covering on it, i dont know if that makes a difference, i check the book and im sure i have them right, the line coming from the fuel filter goes to the fuel rail and the line coming from the tank connects to the fpr,

If this is a 325 built after 8/87, check C191 under the intake manifold.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

^correct me if im wrong but if there is spark doesnt that mean that the cps is working and if the ground strap is not connected then the starter wont even work because its grouned through the engine. Also from my own experiences, the car should start as long as that small round connection under the intake (c191) that supples juice to injectors is pluged in, cps and spark wire sensors are connected. yes the line from the filter goes to the rail

Everything is connected, with timing does it matter on which stroke you line the cam-crank up?

As long as the timing belt is installed with the crank and cam sprocket marks lined up, the engine will be in time.
