Engine in car or out?
If its out of the car here's how I did it...
Install an old vibration damper that doesn't matter if it gets boogered up. Wrap a big old chain wrench around it connected to a 6 foot bar. Then get another 6 foot bar for your 22mm crank nut. Get the one bar wedged against the ground, wall, or anything else to hold the weight. Then hang on the other bar with all you got till that big old bolt breaks loose!
I've also heard of jamming the crank with a bar, although not sure I'd recommend that. Probably other ways as well, have to get creative to break 300ft/lbs! -
The engine is in the car and i have a piece of wood enabling the crank to rotate which surprisingly holds i just dont seem to have enough strength to break the crank loose but thanks anyways all try and get creative.Comment

You must be high. you don't need to remove the crank to replace the seal.1988 E30 335i - 1987 E30 327i - 1987 E30 327iS Pickup - 1973 2002 Project
