    stroker question

    could i do this for a 2.8 L stroker:
    m20b27 block honed and tanked
    m52 cranked modded to fit
    stock pistons with stock rods

would that even produce any major gains than from just slapping the 731 on the stocl bottom

would the 731 head's valves hit the pistons?

please give some input idk what kinda stroker to build and i want to make use of the 731 head tho

looking to use non major custom stuff. i also have a late model m20b25 sting around too

You'd need different pistons and a different head, as the 885 head gives you more than the 731 I believe.

I honestly don't know much about the 731's application in stroker builds, as it doesn't seem efficient to me.

just use the complete m20b25 (w/885 head), or stroke it. i have a 731 head-ed 2.7 if you want to PM me and ask questions. i'm not clear on what you want to do with the 731 head, so i can't give good advice here. about the best you can do using the 731 head without going "custom", would be put it right on a 2.7 bottom and use m20b25 intake/fuel/etc. lot's of variables really... PM me.

To use an m52 crank, you need short skirt m20b25 piston, eta rods, and an 885 head. Cant do it with eta pistons and a 731 head would mean custom.

Nando is right. Plus machining will need to be done to the m52 crank snout
