    More power

What are all the options for more power? Looking to keep my engine N/A, I have a list of things that I plan on doing but I want to know how to squeeze more power out of it.

    :nice:

save your money until you can afford a full out NA engine build, or a turbo, or an engine swap.

but if you really want to put a bunch of money into a stock m20, a mild cam, m50 injectors, a chip, and good flowing headers is about the best you can do.

^Do you have any recommendations on headers?

Just make sure you have all the maintenance, sensors, and vac. leaks sorted out. Too many people try to cover up hesitation and running problems with mods.

Valve job, new cam, megasquirt(or chip) Miller afm if u go with chip. With megasquirt u can do a afm delete there's a video on YouTube of megasquirt on an m20 they got I think a gain of 22whp before afm delete

which was mostly due to tuning.

External engine mods have very little affect on power. A blueprinted engine, high flow head, better cam free, flow exhaust, MAF, and a MegaSquirt will make a difference.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

              miller MAF, and/or WAR chip
intake and free up exhaust a bit
              you can get a cam
you can do a turbo build
              get a 4.10 diff
              bigger injectors

Ah, lets have some fun, 200 wet shot of nitrous and a couple spare M20's and hoods

Yea its mostly tuning but that afm is super restricting and it's cheap power

How fast do you want to go!!... everything needs to work together, any one thing doesnt make a great deal of difference without other supporting parts to match and that goes fo reverything from the air filter all the way to the tailpipe, if your going to leave the internals standard you wont be dissapointed with a mild cam and some headers and a free flow exhaust, after that you will need to look at all mannor of internal mods to make things work.

M50 rods and crank will save u around 8 pounds if u are going to do a whole build plus those connecting rods are forged so good if u ever do plan to Turbo. If u megasquirt get a 288 cam with new rocker arms and valve springs with a higher spring rate and upgrade fuel lines and change ur rev limiter to 9000 haha

factory pistons are cast, not just m20s.
