What size piston rings for a Turbo'd M20 Motor

    What size piston rings for a Turbo'd M20 Motor

    Anyone know what is the best ring size,choice, and brand ?

      Well I'm pretty sure there is an exact size based off the size of the bore. It's not like one of the things where you put bigger rings in cause you are doing a turbo. If you bored it out then you could go bigger and stuff like that. Though I do know that total seal is a good choice for rings.

        This. Ring "size" is based upon bore diameter so that when installed they have the correct end gap. Goetze is good stuff.

            Whatever is needed after boring and/or honing has been completed. After block has been prepped then end gap it to find the correct size. Same idea for the crank as well.
            Some people just need a sympathetic pat...
            on the head...

              There's really no reason the block should need any boring or honing unless you're doing bigger pistons.
